Is the Left a Good Idea?
Jeremy Vance: I think the left could be far more comfortable working with american history and tradition. We need to be able to talk about that genuinely without throwing up a little bit, he says. Vance: Democracy wasn't for everyone in our history, but it could be, right? And it was a beginning. So i feel like there's just ways to reposition a lot of the critiques, after we critique, into this broader sense of what we already have accomplished.
