The Importance of Studying the Old Testament
As a Bible study teacher, how has the Lord grown your understanding of his word as you've taken time to really get into it and study it for yourself? Well, I think like a lot of Christians, I had spent a fair amount of time in a New Testament, but the Old Testament felt scary and weird to me. But all of the years that I've gotten to spend in these Old Testament books are yielding up this fruit where I'm able to see the connections more than I would have 15 years ago. And then I get excited about if I've got this much more understanding now, how much more will I have 10 years from now if I keep putting deposits into this?
