Introduction

The case to day is that of a 85 year old woman who's presenting for irrigation and debrement of an infected wound. She's persistently hypotensive in the operating room, and the resident decides to start an infusion of no epinefron through one of the patient's peripheral ivies. The attending observes this, however, and tells the resident to switch the infusion to fenel efron and to actually place a central line if the patient needs no epineron.
