There's a real question mark over to what extent democracy is going to survive in Iraq. Elections are still being held on time, but the results are largely cooked up. Fewer and fewer of them are voting. I think that there is still a religious struggle that is taking place in the country. Are Sunnis and Shia going to unite within one polity or will they continue to fight their own factional battles?
