The Paradox of Metaphor

When I'm talking about Jesus, a real person who lives, our Judaism, our Caesar Augustus, I term further word parable. Even if you're saying that one day when Jesus was out walking, God appeared to him. Fine. But even if it was made up and everything else, that story has just been made up by, say, Luke or somebody. It involves one human being. If it's making a claim that something transcendent like that. The important point for me is we cannot understand that metaphorical language and the parable is simply a metaphor that you pour water on until it becomes a story. A metaphor creates reality. We can't get away from metaphors.
