The Importance of Tight Ends in College Football
Illinois State's Eddie La Porta is a knock off Michael Mayer. He forced 20 missed tackles according to PFF, which was second most in the country at tight end. The only reason I didn't see him similar to Mayer is because Mayer is sort of just like from central casting as a wide tight end and La Porta isn't that kind of guy.
