The Sign of a Growing and Saviorized Person

When the church declares that a person, by their fruit and repentance, is forgiven, they are simply recognizing publicly what god has already done for them in heaven. And so this is not teaching tat we have some power to forgive sins,. but that we have the power, as people indwelt by the holy spirit, who follow the word of god, to recognize who has and has not been forgiven through the holy spirit. This is the sign of a growing and sanctified person.
