Is There Anything We Can Do About It?

The government was able to accelerate it and then at the price of destroying it forever. I don't think it's a problem of money, which is one of the liberal explanations. So I actually think it's more of a cultural problem, which is better than nature, but still hard to change. And there's sort of a series of cultural things that are wrong about the nature of science. But I think we could be making progress in all these areas. There's no reason we couldn't cure cancer, there's no reason We couldn't cure Alzheimer's.
