GSAP - What Attracted You to This Position?
I was both surprised and not surprised about your appointment as the new Dean of Columbia GSAP. In a way I think GSAP, Columbia and the Graduate School of Architecture Planning Preservation at Columbia is a place that it's been for decades sensing what change would mean in the built environment. What I like about GSAP in this position is that basically it's a privileged way from which let's say change can be sensed and anticipated. That produces very good feeling the feeling that you can be connected to reality in many different ways but also contributing to basically shape the future of the world.
