Growing Up Evangelical
I grew up in a very evangelical town. My parents weren't raised necessarily very Christian, but when you live in an environment like that it is very easy to just get kind of sucked into it. I think I was about 11 or 12 when I came out formally as at the time just someone who liked boys. And so it was really hard to have any sort of frame of reference on the outside world, outside of the internet.
