Why Some Congregations Hold Hands During the Our Father

Anonymous: Why do some congregations hold hands during the Our Father and others don't? Is one more appropriate? I actually submitted that question Dennis. It seems like this has grown up kind of spontaneously. The church does not prescribe this as a thing to do in order to say you can't do it, but then you have to step back and say what really makes sense at this point. Anyone know what this is? Class?
