Is There a Problem With Face Masks in the Pandemic?
The masks haven't caused a problem in identifying people. So throughout the pandemic it hasn't impaired your ability to basically do your job, right? No, no, it's not as easy. But there's still that instantaneous recognition if you do see the person you're looking for. We found super recognises were better than controls at recognising faces with face masks on whether they were familiar with them or unfamiliar. And something else that Kelly said that strikes me was that we have done research using EEG as well, measuring brain activity. It was published in Cortex which is quite a nice journal to get published in.
