Teachers and Parents - Is There a Way to Change That?
I feel like parents and teachers have been pitted against each other in ways that have really torn down the trust. I don't think that we can change that perception or get folks on board just by working harder, because as you pointed out early in the pandemic, teachers were heroes for a hot second and then it was over. The more that you do that's outside of your job description, the more you work for free the more you spend your own money in the classroom to prop it up. What can you do in your own school to build that trust to build that allyship and to get parents with you? You know, where they can see that this is a real person,
