The Role of Blood Pressure in Postcardiac Arrest Syndrome

Hypotension after Rosk is commonly encountered in children with postcardiac arrest syndrome. It is not clear whether increasing the blood pressure through administration of fluids and ionotropes slash vasopressors can mitigate harm. Despite this, about 40% of patients under 18 receive vasopressor therapy within the first six hours after Rosk. Currently, there is no high quality evidence to support any single specific strategy for postcardiak arrest, hemodynamic optimization in children.
