The Valley of Acor: A Door of Hope

The Valley of Acor is only mentioned three times in Scripture, but it literally means trouble. This is where we get the name for our church, and it's key to understanding what Door of Hope is about. The cross is a place where the ugliness of human sin is maximized into visibility. Sin died with Jesus on the cross. And like Aiken, he takes the Valley of Trouble, the trouble of human existence, and he turns it into something hopeful.
