So modularity is means subdividing things into smaller parts. Even the most flamboyant wedding cake is built from small modules of cake,. You can just keep pilot, you know, and then build a cake, whatever size you want from that. We generalize that all the way from the wedding cake to the time of crisis and modularity is extremely important. The energy sources which are going to solve this problem for us of the climate crisis are hugely modular - like solar cells or wind turbines.
