Muriel Bol and the Gregory-Villeman Investigation
Muriel Bol was indicted for kidnapping and forcible confinement followed by death. She went on a hunger strike to protest her innocence while being held in custody. In 2018, the now-49-year-old released a book titled Breaking the Silence. Handwriting experts analysed the letter from the mysterious Corinne and determined it had likely been written by Gregory's grandmother Manique Villman. Later that year, Manique died of complications from coronavirus disease.
