There are often two approaches to dealing with difficult emotions that are presented. One approach is to allow them to be what they are, or invite them in for tea. And then there's a whole lot of teaching in the buddhist lineage about letting go of angry thoughts and cultivating more wholesome ones. So i'm kind of curious, in your mind, how do you know when to do which of those things, or how do those things work together? How do you know? Is like riding a bicycle you can tell a kid how to ride a bicycle, but they can't know till they're on the bicycle and they get it in their body.
