I Can't Promise That I Will Never Hurt You

We feel like the heart is very thing because we've been hurt a lot. The interesting thing there is that when we armor our hearts, we're not necessarily doing well by it. We can only intend to do well by the other person and therefore you can only expect that from the other person in return. And if you are demanding that the person promise that they will never hurt you, well, you know, you’re setting yourself up to be betrayed Because of your expectations, not because of their actions exactly.
