The Importance of Public Funding for Autism

Knowing that I was autistic probably would have made parenting a lot easier in the early years. There simply aren't enough services and supports for adults or children who are autistic. The majority of the funding unfortunately goes to only a few types of treatment, some of which are highly controversial. And there's just a lot of other things we can do to support autistic people.
