Jeffrey Hinton: The Godfather of AI

Jeffrey Hinton, known as the Godfather of AI, just left Google. He's always been an academic researcher type at heart rather than an industry guy. I think you're going to see more of these high profile academics who went into big tech going out of big tech because they realized you can still be at the forefront of research working in the open source domain.
