I Don't Know What I Want
Many people use 'I don't know what I want' as an excuse for not doing something. But most of them have lots of ideas and are just afraid to take a go at any of them. Peter Thompson taught me a great exercise called the white room. You write down all your opportunities on a piece of paper, then you can only take half into the next room until you've got one or two left. And then you will discover that either A, one of them is absolutely right for you or both of them aren't. So it is the taking action that overcomes the fear of procrastination. Too many people just press pause.
