Burner: I'm a big advocate of UI and you've probably read my Spotify article about how frustrated I am with their UI that they haven't done anything about. You know, when you study UX or any kind of design, really, you are taught this sort of lengthy process to come up with something that's going to hang together. So I try to sort of strike a balance. What's really challenging about it, we're constantly having discussions like this on my team, is what is enough design? And aesthetics is the hardest thing to gauge in context.

Alexa Roman motivates us to prove the value of design and contribute to it every single day. She encourages us to always be learning new things since designers work across many different fields.
