Open Theism and Divine Surprise
William Hasker says that the biblical passages about divine surprise are most likely hyperbolic. The God of Open Theism can make incredibly accurate predictions such that divine surprise makes very little sense, he writes. "I even think that there could be cases where God will know for certain what I will do in the near future"
