The Origins of Libertarianism

Most people think libertarianism is a distinct thing to the American doctrine that emerged sometime in the mid-late 20th century. It began at the almost the exact midpoint of the 19th century, I think in France, but in England at about the same time. And so it's a doctrine that begins with some remarkable thinkers in France and in in Bastia, for example. We're just thinking about these cluster concept ideas in ways that were distinctly recognized to be a libertarian.
