Are You a Fruitless Disciple of Jesus?

In chapter 12 of the old testament, jesus tells a parable about people who don't bear fruit. And he's teaching them that they are supposed to be demonstrating the fruit of belonging to god. The question you have to ask is, are they even a disciple of jesus? Things like love, peace, patience, ness, gentleness, self control, those things are the fruits of a life lived in christ. This doesn't mean that we've created those gifts, those fruits in ourselves, but they are the natural, or supernatural, outgrowth of a life rooted in Jesus.
