The Proponents of a Ban on TikTok

As things stand, it's entirely hypothetical in order to ban an entire platform. The Chinese government is just as capable as any American company of going next door to their friendly online data broker and buying a whole trove of information about private US citizens already. And I just don't think it has happened. Not only has it not happened, but it is it has happened already in entirely different non TikTok related ways.
