Retrieval augmented models where you have an LLM, but then you augmented with whatever vector database and knowledge base. Some people are starting to use this as a way to solve the hallucination problem. The idea here is if I'm talking to a system like chat and GPT, it will often answer and say, look, my information is only current to my cutoff date of 2021.
