Why Is Gold So Rare?

I don't think we know the answers to these questions. It's a mystery why it is that we have this pre-given set of Legos, and they seem to be in use since time immemorial. I became quite fascinated with gold and also invested in gold mines. And at some point, I made the mistake of trying to mine the gold. That was when I realized how hard it was to actually make a profit mining.
