I think writing for me is probably 95% of my deal flow. It isn't just the writing itself, but the conversations and so on happen around it. Having strong opinions paired with these vignettes of the actual work are really valuable. Calling yourself a positioning consultant is fine, but you're going to miss what makes you special. I would love somebody who thinks that way.
