Are We Getting a Better Relationship With Both Certainty and Uncertainty?

I like very much this idea that identity as a primary social concern is a failure of the experience of values. This notion of the kind of certainty that facilitates our ability to encounter and use uncertainty, I think is powerful. And there's a certain sense in which because we're addressing the problem of evil that it doesn't come from certainty or uncertainty. It comes from a lack of the experience and the right relating of both of those qualities.
