Biden's a Domestic Enemy, Right?

I try really hard because I had to do this for years with Republicans, where people always wanted to start from the argument that Republicans were deliberately evil in whatever controversy of the day. You know, when Trent Lott said that America would have been better off as Strom Thurman had won the presidency, whatever, they immediately assumed it was just a flat out racist dog whistle and outrageous. And so I try hard to give the same benefit of the doubt to Democrats when they do stuff that it's stupid rather than cynical or villainous. It is a, and I think it's a, it's a deeply cynical and pretty pernicious strategy that may in fact turn out to be smart
