Is This the Ideological Work That's Happening?
In our collective imagination, these are racialized, fantasized, people of color. Most of us in america will not see it. And so it's this place that's in our mind, but out of sight, am and it's a place where others go. We can ignore the fact that prison impacts millions of people. Ain't and youru to ignore that it exists. I ain't outside of what i think are some, you know, acceptable berometers, right? O.K., we're talking about more humane treatment of incarcerated people, but we can't really talk about abolishing prisons.
