I Learned Young That I Was Problematic

i learned young that i was problematic. I'm the child of a dark skinned african american man and a white, pale british mother. Our family was problematic. We got looks, we got mean comments. And i knew that i was already out of bounds. This is thelocus of my compassion and empathy. A lot of folks have compassion empathy. We we might have it innately. We might have it because of lived i'm just tracing mine back to these earliest childhood memories ar feeling problematic from the start. There're so many ways in which we get other d and i am here to gather all of us together and say, we all do actually matter.
