Mc fadden created a magazine called 19 20. The first issue sold out, and he went on to create other magazines devoted to different types of true stories. He made every contributor sign an affidavit stating that his or her story was indeed true. Employees would go up to the roof each morning to see if they still had a job. A flag flew on the mac fadden building for each new publication. If it doesn't sell, well, he takes it.
