I think when people hear the idea or want to become a real estate investor, the first thing they think of is just residential real estate. And so that's how it was for me. I didn't really spend much time thinking about any type of other asset class that I could potentially invest in that don't include somebody's home. When you are dealing with a place where somebody lives, you're just dealing with a big part of their life. It's easy to kind of go for the landlord's jugular and God bless residential property managers.
