The Future of Information Security

The growing influence of globalisation will present organisations with the opportunity to engage with new markets that they couldn't previously access. Many organisations will have a programme in place to refresh IT assets, purchase new security tools and fill gaps in security departments. Security managers need to consider how they prioritise and justify their information security demands amid such constraints. Chief information security officers may have to decide between investing in technology or the information security team. And there will be pros and cons for each decision made, certainly in terms of balancing risk versus reward.
