Pushing for More Than Three Hours?
With the first baby, the average amount of pushing is an hour or more. Some people are pushing for two, three hours and that's normal. Women with enpaderl take longer to push - but it's just the front end. The process can be anywhere from a couple of minutes to a couple of hours. And then if there's a concern in the second stage that the head is not coming down at the right speed or pace, what are our options at that point? There are three. This is we're where we all earn our keep, so to speak.
