Firebase's Original Killer Feature Was Subscribable Queries

Firebase's original killer feature was Subscribable queries. You could on the front end submit a query but instead of, you know, just a one time query you say I want to subscribe to this kind of slice of the database. So Firebase would let you write things like that very easily so you could subscribe from the front end and then whenever,. you know, one of those transactions came in and the database changed it would just send the new data to the clients all the time. That was one of the main impetus is for when I created BIF because as I was using Firebase, I realized from a technical standpoint how that could be implemented by myself.
