What Is the Gospel?

The question really is, what is the gospel? And what is it? Is it? The pandemic has brought into sharp relief that a pastor can veer materially from expectations. What we have seen, i think, in the pandemic, was this enormous point of friction when a pastor does something that is seen as veering materially from the the expectations. It's not always predictable when or if the deviation will occur, right?
