We do need to be attentive to listening, to reading God's word with an eye towards knowing him better. We're communicating ourselves to him in a myriad of ways also. And so sometimes, you know, you hear God speak to you and you go, and can it be that I should gain? You don't interest in my Savior's blood, right? It just doesn't fit.
