I had always thought of my mom as being kind of a passive person, someone who has things happen to her. So when she said she danced the night away at this club under the blinking neon lights, I had a hard time picturing it. My mom says aside from the foreign patrons, there was nothing particularly different about the club. And by the time they got out, the buses had stopped running.
