GLP1 Drugs and Weight Loss

A common topic on this podcast is the advent of novel medicines for initially type G diabetes and now for weight loss that we call GLP1 drugs week over being the star one but many others coming soon. The most I've heard from doctors the biggest effect they've heard from patients on ozempica or wagovii is an effect on alcohol. You just kind of lose interest or some people lose interest in drinking alcohol while they're on these medicines. There is some evidence that GLP1s may have effects on cravings that are go beyond food.
