Step one is desire, yes. And this step requires us to write out a concise statement of the exact amount of money we intend to acquire. But i was not being generous quite yet. In order for me to give, i needed other people to give. And so i wrote it out directly on to twitter, just like julia did. I explained that i would match donations to plan parenthood and aortion funds and other organizations. It seemed my faith was rewarded. Twitter told me, look, somebody just responded to your tweet.
