Introduction

The legendary broken angel house disappeared from the skyline about ten years ago. In ninetee 79, two artists named arthur and cynthia wood purchased a four story tenement at fort downing for just over two thousand dollars. They lived and worked here with their son christopher, turning it into a wild glass and wood structure that rose five stories above the existing brick building. Today we are at four downing street in brooklyn, new york to reconstruct this angel from memories and to find the pieces of her that are still left.
