I'm a Writer, a Poet, and a Songwriter?

As a kid, I grew up in a house with lots of books and my mom was read to us a lot. As a preacher's kid when you're sitting in church, you can only hear your dad preach so many times. But apart from that, like, I just had an instinct for, you know, when I would sit down at the piano...I could never explain to you why a sentence was right. And I think that was true of music.
