The Evolution of the Doctrine and Covenants
There seems to be this pattern of there being, you know, no evidence of certain important things happening. Then all of a sudden some really bold claims, but then those claims changing over time as Joseph's beliefs and associations evolve. This is basically David Whitmer saying, hey, that's what happened right off the gate. And it's funny too, because when I first started doing the deep dive, I would often get a response from people that would say something along the lines of you're looking for all these problems. None of the early church members had a problem with it and he would have been doing it right in front of them.
