Atrial Fibrillation and Stroke - Is There a Connection?

The option trial will enroll 1,600 patients in 130 global sites. These patients have nonvalvular atrial fibrillation at high risk of stroke by virtue of a chads' vast score of greater than 2 in men, greater than 3 in women. The medication regimen following device implantation include 3 months of DOAC plus aspirin. This is followed by 3 to 12 months aspirin alone.
