The Path of Devotion and Worship

In order to attain knowledge, one must go through the path of devotion and worship as a practical necessity. Hinduism says you have an infinite number of chances. Chant the name of the lord unceasingly. It can never do any harm. Will it help me in my path of knowledge? Certainly.
