Introduction

Jurg Schmakka's first couple of days in the job have been busy. He seems to be fairly busy at the moment, which is I suppose a good thing and a little bit of a different thing for Liverpool as well. It just feels like the start of a new area, albeit he is on the short-term deal, which is slightly strange. If you get a few good names through the door this summer, it gets a little bit more rebuild after it's the best possible start. You never know, maybe they'll extend that deal and it'll be around for a little while.
